GENERAL INFORMATION:

1.   HYFRAN-PLUS software contains all HYFRAN tools and procedures. It now replaces HYFRAN which is no longer available. In addition, a DSS (Decision Support System) is included in HYFRAN-Plus to help the user choose the most adequate distribution to fit a set of Independent and Identically Distributed (IID) data.

2.   Any previous versions of HYFRAN or HYFRAN-PLUS will not be affected unless the user has a computer malfunction and/or upgrades the system. In that case, the user would have to purchase another copy of HYFRAN-PLUS at the discounted price of $200.

3.   Past and current users of HYFRAN-PLUS and HYFRAN can get additional copies of HYFRAN-PLUS at the discount price of ($200). On the Order Form, the product number of the previous order (for either HYFRAN-PLUS or HYFRAN) is required.

4.   The current version of HYFRAN-PLUS (with DSS) is version 2.2.

5.   This 2.2 version contains some improvements to the 2.1 version (a test of Log-Normality has been added in the DSS; a paper recently accepted for publication and in press is reachable for the users, with the setup).

6.   HYFRAN-Plus is compatible with Windows 11.

FOR USER OF WINDOWS 7, MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE ACCESS AS ADMINISTRATOR; IF YOU INSERT THE USERNAME AND PASSWORD IN THE REGISTRATION FORM, BUT NOTHING HAPPENS, CREATE A NEW PROFILE (NEW USER SESSION
https://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows7/Create-a-user-account) AND THE HYFRAN-PLUS SOFTWARE SHOULD WORK.

7.   General instructions concerning the use of HYFRAN-PLUS are provided in the menu and detailed information can be found in the manual. THE MANUAL IS AVAILABLE WITH THE SETUP.

WARNING - VERY IMPORTANT!   You CANNOT download more than one demo version onto the same computer. More than one version will cause the software to malfuction and the password will not work and you will have to purchase another license. Before downloading, ALL previous demo versions MUST BE UNINSTALLED including deleting all INRS files/folders. EACH demo version of the software has a UNIQUE product number. The product number of the demo version is needed to get the password in order to activate the UNIQUE demo version. The product number appears on the screen when the demo version is launched. !!!AGAIN - The product number you send to WRP MUST corresponds to the UNIQUE demo version installed on your computer!!! Once we send you the password that is associated with the product number you provided WRP, ANY CHANGES such as: downloading another demo version onto the same computer; a computer crash; a new computer, or system updates: You will have to purchase another password for $200.00.
