This publication was developed by Dr. Kasenow in order to facilitate an easy field by which transmissivity could be estimated using drawdown measured from a production well. The tables have been developed for both confined and unconfined aquifers utilizing both small diameter and larger diameter production well parameters. In addition, transmissivity can be estimated using any of three common units: gpd/ft, ft2/ day or m2/ day. These tables are an invaluable tool that can service the needs of hydrogeologists, well drillers, researchers and other ground-water professionals. The tables are very easy to read and begin from 15 minutes up to 24 hours of water well pumping for commonly used production wells. Heath departments, or any agency responsible for estimating water supply in regard to housing development, will greatly appreciate these tables where single well testing is predominately used.
